A sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone for making the 30th Annual Calgary Open Dance Competition an outstanding success! Time has flown by and reaching the incredible milestone of 30 would not have been possible without each and every one of you. From the judges, volunteers, emcee, scrutineer, music directors, teachers, competitors, parents and spectators, you all brought your unique energy and spirit, making this event truly unforgettable! Seeing both familiar and new faces was a testament to the vibrant dance community we share, with dance connecting us all together.

We are so appreciative of all the incredibly talented competitors who graced the dance floor with your captivating routines, mesmerizing everyone in attendance. We extend our utmost gratitude to the incredible audience with your cheers, applause, and words of encouragement providing an electrifying atmosphere. To our emcee, scrutineer, and esteemed panel of judges, we extend our deepest appreciation for your expertise. Lastly to all our dedicated volunteers, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, your selflessness and commitment was integral to making this event run so smoothly.

Again, thank you so much to everyone from the bottom of our heart, we are so lucky to having such an amazing dance family! We hope to see everyone again next year on Saturday May 10th, 2025! ❤

Pro/Am and Amateur competitors of all levels and ages are welcome to register. Featuring the Calgary Open 2025 Latin & Standard Dancesport Championships. We want to provide an event where dancers can showcase their talent, hard work and love of dance.

Our event will be held at the MacEwan Ballroom, which is located on the 3rd floor of MacEwan Hall on the University of Calgary campus. Please leave extra time to find the event location and parking. Parking will be available at a cost.
